Elder abuse in Massachusetts affects a wide range of individuals, including elderly citizens residing in urban settings, low-income seniors struggling to access resources, and those in rural areas with limited access to healthcare. Many victims often hesitate to report abuse due to fear of retaliation or a lack of understanding regarding the resources available to them.
